Route Optimisation

Route Creation: Standard

1. Navigate to the Routes tab in the left hand column then select Standard Routes tab on the top
2. Select Upload/Create top right corner and either select Route Upload* or Route Create
3. When creating a route firstly enter in a Route Name, enter a Start port and End port, a Description, and select any Routing Preferences listed in the drop down menu.
4. Once done, select Generate Route.

*When uploading a route the accepted formats are: ECDIS RTZ, CSV, TXT, RTN, RT3, RT

Route Creation: Optimised

Optimised routes are ones optimised for a specific vessel and voyage, taking into account the meteorological and oceanographic impacts.

1. Navigate to the Routes tab in the left hand column then select Standard Routes tab on the top
2. Click on the 3 dots to the right of the route to be optimised and select Optimise
3. Fill out all the fields and select Optimise

All the metrics entered in are what we take into account when optimising the route for the vessel. Once the Optimisation has been completed the route will reflect within the Optimised tab on the top of the page
